The Nextcloud Home/SME server is the perfect choice for anyone wanting a quick and easy way to get Nextcloud up and running in no time! It comes pre-installed with the latest Nextcloud version when shipped. It’s delivered in the same way as the VM, meaning that all you have to do is to boot it, run the first setup script and you’re good to go!
It’s configured to be more powerful than all the other devices that are currently available with Nextcloud and therefore suitable to run in more demanding environments such as a cloud with many users, files, shares, or when the current RaspberryPi, NUC or similar device isn’t enough to handle the load.

The device is fully tested to be compatible with the shipped version of Ubuntu Server and the contents of the Nextcloud scripts that it’s built upon. We also update the BIOS to the latest version just before shipping to guarantee the best possible Linux support.
